Revive Africa | Brand Development.
Revive Africa, originally named Carbon Footprint Africa (CFA), initially focused solely on printer cartridge recycling. Over time, their business evolved to encompass a wider range of e-waste recycling services. The existing brand name, ‘Carbon Footprint Africa,’ had negative connotations associated with reducing carbon footprint. Revive Africa sought a brand refresh to reflect their expanded service offerings and their mission of promoting a sustainable future.

About this project.
We recommended a complete rebrand instead of a refresh due to the significant changes in Revive Africa’s business model. The new name, Revive Africa, emphasises the positive outcome of their work: a revived and sustainable future for Africa.
The brand messaging focuses on the ‘why’ and ‘what’ of Revive Africa’s services, emphasising the positive environmental impact of e-waste recycling. This comprehensive rebrand was implemented across all marketing materials and platforms, website included.
The colour palette evokes the beauty of African sunsets, symbolising a hopeful future. The colour transition represents e-waste transforming into ‘new life.’
Our Solution.
Revive Africa’s new brand identity effectively communicates their expanded services and commitment to environmental sustainability. The positive messaging and evocative colour palette resonates with potential customers and differentiates Revive Africa from their competitors. This project demonstrated our ability to create a new brand identity that aligns with a company’s evolving business goals and social responsibility initiatives.
